The organisation of Vital Gaming were previously known as one of the most up and coming organisations within the CoD4 scene, unfortunately due to circumstances beyond their control they ended up spiralling into inactivity but since seen new hope and have re-opened for business. Already setting their sights on a Call of Duty team to help represent their name throughout the rest of the year.

Their new line-up are currently made up of a bunch of friends, who when they got bored decided to mix. Realising the potential they had they made it official and went under the name of SuperHeroSquad where they have been proving themselves during the "pre-season" of CyberGamer's Amatuer League, which is now underway.

The team led by the only American player in the team David budd4h Davila, have expressed their enthusiasm of playing with one another, with their game play and chemistry together on the up they are determined to push themselves further then they thought imaginable over the next seven months.

Their offline plans consist of attending as many BeNeLux LAN events as financially possible towards the later stages of the year, as well as a bigger European event also on the cards. For now though they will look to continue through CyberGamer's Amateur League and hopefully push for the promotion places available. With their current run of four wins and zero losses they will need to maintain this standard if they want to move up by the end of season three.

Statement - David Davila
My team and I are ready to bring in as much success as we can for the vital org and to prove the doubters wrong, that an American can indeed hang with the euros.
TCM Back in console scene

With so many teams turning out to EGL in Blackpool next month, the MW3 scene is receiving large amounts of attention, especially from organisations who are vying to get their name at the event. One team that has been absent for the Call of Duty Xbox scene for a while is TCM Gaming, most well known for having the GameStop world champions in their ranks for MW2.

They had a few teams on Black Ops however after poor performances and stability issues, they decided to drop their team in order to concentrate on their PC squads. It can now be confirmed they are back to support console once again as they pick up the ex-Foreign line up for MW3, one of favourites to place highly at the event.

After previously turning down the chance to join Oslo Lions after Foreign dropped their console division, rumours had circulated that they would be joining TCM. They will be representing their new organisation at EGL next month on April 7th/8th. Check out the teams new montage trailer before.

New TCM player Ryan 'Monksy' Monks had this to say about joining;
"Really looking forward to joining this organisation massive thanks to Jim, Craig and the rest of the management for this opportunity. It offers great prospects for the future and the stability within an organisation that we want. Thanks to swizz for all his help."

TCM manager Craig 'Walkah' Walker also commented;
"After not being involved in the scene since Black Ops, we're very happy to finally sign the deal with a team who have all the potenital to consistantly place at the top, and represent the TCM-Gaming brand professionally. Expanding our roster with even more quality players is a key part of our 2012 plans - we're looking forward to the year ahead and can see a great future from the team!"

Western Wolves Drop DareDevil

We don't normally write about teams losing players as replacements are often waiting in the wings and it normally only requires one news post. Today is different however as Western Wolves officially announce the departure of Dutch player Peter 'DareDevil' Steenlend from their MW3 team, only two weeks prior to EGL.

Even after Peter attended different events when the entire team couldn't, it didn't seem to bother a lineup that many thought was solid and predicted a top placement at EGL Blackpool. Attending their first event at Reflex GT8 last month and finishing in the respectable position of third, many expected the team to only improve. Internally however it seems there had been issues with Peter reportedly talking to other teams about joining due to his playstyle not fitting with wW tactics.

This now leaves just under 2 weeks to find a replacement for a team that works firmly around tactics and communication, not a simple task for a team with high aspirations. Will they take a risk with an unknown player; use a player from a team not attending EGL such as Epsylon or run the risk of ruining their reputation by taking someone from another team? We'll keep you up to date on both who Peter joins and who wW decide to take to Blackpool.

Scott had this to say on www.WesternWolves.com;
"Our team has not been functioning properly for a number of weeks now, and I think everyone in the team would agree that the synergy within has changed. This, coupled with a few other reasons, leads me to say our goodbyes and thanks to Peter. We wish him the best of luck for the future."

Achieved a 3rd place at Øresund LAN

The Counter-Strike Source squad achieved a 3rd place at the gaming event Øresund LAN. We had a very great time at Øresund LAN. We arrived friday afternoon, and helped the organizers with setting up tables and etc. After that we was getting ready for the games next day. The event contained a few very strong mix teams, including Behindthesource.com, with players from Epsilon-eSport and the owner of the website Behindthesource.com.

Our team was seeded as 3rd place, which alot of players was very suprised about. They didnt believe that they was able to achieve it, but the team proved that they was able to do that and what level our players are playing at. Which i as manager are very happy about!

We managed to get to the Upper bracket semifinals, where our opponent was the 2nd seeded team AuroraUnited. It was a really important match for us as a team, since we have been playing against them alot of times online. But we wanted to prove our skill at LAN against them. We won the match and went foward against the 1st seeded team Behindthesource.com. Unfortanetly we lost the match. After that we was thrown down to the lowerbracket final to qualify for the Grand final, where we meet the team called HELT NEDE. It was a really tight match and ended 14-16 to HELT NEDE.

Our very own team-manger Andreas 'phyd' Henriksen was actually the organizer behind the event Øresund LAN. He was very busy at the event, and had to help alot of other players enjoying the weekend with alot of gaming. But we managed to have a good time as a team aswell, and we are definintly looking foward to achieve good results against the best teams in the world at Copenhagen Games.

Would you say a 3rd place is a acceptable result for your team?
'Yes its allright for this event. As said above we was seeded as 3rd place, and alot of teams was very suprised about that. So proofing that we was able to achieve that result, is allright. Of course a first or second place is better, but we have to build it up step by step. Lets see whats gonna happend at Copenhagen games!' - Andreas 'phyd' Henriksen

vitalGamings Proud to announce first Starcraft II Squad

About two year ago the long-awaited successor to the legendary eSports title Starcraft appeared Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty. This real-time strategy game from Blizzard Entertainment moved the eSports community to a new dimension and allowed for the highly followed and paid tournaments, leagues and LAN's we see taken place today.
Although the UK Starcraft II scene is relatively small in comparison with the likes of GSL and MLG taken place in South Korea and America, it is steadily growing with Multiplay iSeries and EGL hosting tournaments with some of the highest prize funds we've seen for any game. This meaning there couldn't be a better time for vitalGaming to sign their first SC2 Division. We are proud to present the ex-InC line up consisting of:

Dave 'vGDaveRave ' Thomson (Team Manager)
Johan 'vGThr33' Moisander
Carl 'vGusersupid' Degaardt
Emil 'vGKutte' Anderson
Ivan 'vGRainman' Kurchin

With most the players coming from the previous Starcraft Brood War competitive scene, and players such as 'vGuserstuip' winning the GBG SC2 Qualifier, quality and experience is definitely not lacking for this team and we hope to see them competing at the highest level in the near future.

Statement from 'vGDaverave'

"I feel this is great move on our part and we're more than happy to be competing under vitalGaming. As we are still growing and looking to build as a community and as a competitive team, we believe the framework and support which vitalGaming provides can help us achieve this. "

Statement from 'vGKutte'

"I think it's a great move for us. It's nice to join a professional and established organisation and to be playing under the vital tag. I'm going to be streaming a lot of SC2 so be sure to check out my stream.

As always we'd like to wish the team the best of luck for their upcoming matches and look forward to working with them in the future.

Dignitas Release CoD4 Team

Dignitas have today released a long expected statement, announcing the removal of the struggling Call of Duty 4 team from the organization with immediate effect.

The previously named team of Probob announced their partnership with the British organization of Dignitas back during late October fulfilling community rumours. For what many would call the honeymoon period things appeared, at least on the surface, to be going well, that was until the team attended Multiplay's Insomnia44 event during November 2011. The tournament ran pretty smoothly for the team, beating most of the opposition with relative ease, but when faced with the seasoned team of TCM-Gaming plans quickly unravelled, and when defeated by Phantasmix the team quickly descended into despair.

Two weeks on and the community saw the departure of Chris blackmane Kinnair after a stint of inactivity resulted in the side being removed from multiple competitions, including the reputable ESL Major Series. Just two week onwards and Ted KoWa Hansson was also given the boot due to recent underperformances. Since the players departures the team have struggled to combat motivation when the lack of available players limited the team’s choices, and now, months onwards the team have finally decided to disband.

Where the three remaining players will go now it's hard to say, but community rumours see Dimitry delroo Decan off to join the European team of Progrip, with Mark mark Horner off to fight alongside the previous Infused line-up, Volatile. Where Mark phantasy Pinney will end up it's hard to say, but if the community force are right expect to see him in TCM-Gaming sometime soon.

Dimitry delroo Decan gave TEK9 the following statement:

"This isn't really new news but Dignitas is folding due to several reasons. One of them is lack of motivation to rebuild and to get two new players, which is something we (Mark, phan, me) had to do after a disappointing i44. We trialled some people but it didn't work in the end so we called it a day, there’s no hard feelings involved and we're departing from Dignitas with immediate effect. I'd like to thank everyone for their support. Best of luck to Mark, Phan, Blackmane & Kowa in whatever they're going to be doing now."

The remaining Dignitas Line-Up:

Mark "phantasy-" Pinney
Mark "mark" Horner
Dimitry "delroo" Decan

Interview with the team captain from vitalGaming.CSS

Monday this week vitalGaming recruited a new team. The team is a very strong and stable team in the First-Person Shooter game, Counter-Strike: Source. They will from monday this week present the organization in Counter-Strike: Source. Since they are new faces to a lot in vitalGaming, we are going to make a short interview from the team-captain Kasper 'Telkamp' Nielsen.

Information about the new squad vitalGaming.CSS
The team used to be known as ISAF1347. They qualified for the EMS IX CSS in November 2011, and did a really good attempt to get further from the group stages. They had some really good matches against some of the best teams in the world. They faced Team-SYPHER in the group stages and did really well, but unfortunately lost 14-16 to the well playing French team. They are now back with some changes in the line-up, and are looking very strong. They will be attending Copenhagen Games 2012 at April 4th-8th, which contains teams from all over Europe. They will also attend Oeresund LAN 2012, which is a smaller Danish event.

Interivew with the team-captain, Kasper 'Telkamp Nielsen
Kasper, since you are new faces to a lot in the organization, would you mind introducing you and your team?
"Of course I can Andreas! My name is Kasper (as you said) and I'm 17 years old, and the team leader of the new vitalGaming.CSS team. As a line-up, have we competed for a while now, actually all the way back to November, 2011. Our main ambition is to be stable and keep winning. Because a stable team is a winning team."

What makes your team such a strong team and stable team?
"I'm sure that it's due to the fact that we really like eachother, also outside the game. We find it very important to hold bootcamps and invite people for parties, it really helps to keep a 'clean air' between us when we are gaming."

Whats your goals and expectations for this year, 2012?
"Our team ambitions for 2012, is to be stable and survive all the way to 2013! For LANs, our goals is to participate in the I-series at some point of the year, but we'll see about that."

Where will we be able to follow you soon. Any offline or online tournaments?
"You will be able to follow us at Oeresund LAN and Copenhagen Games , that's for sure. Online we are fighting to get into the upcoming EMS and the next SteelSeries League ."

Do you have anything to add?
"I sure have! I'm pleased with our spot in vitalGaming, and I'll make sure that we fight, for our rights! to GAME! Hope we can make vitalGaming proud. Thank you all for the support, and especially thanks to our manager phyd, for finding us the best home ever!"
